Ballistic Salisbury

At Ballistic we have a simple theory. Fresh beer is the best beer.

Welcome to Ballistic Salisbury, our HQ and the original Ballistic brewery.

Believe it or not, Ballistic Beer HQ used to be an old World War II munitions factory. Today, we just stick to brewing your kinda beers.

Here you’ll find the Ballistic beers you know and love, as well as our specialty craft styles. There’s also a cellar door bar with 17 rotating taps and brewery tours.

At Ballistic we have a simple theory. Fresh beer is the best beer. That’s why we brew in small batches, more frequently, and store it cold so you get the same blast of flavour our brewers do.

Our Pale Ales, Lagers, IPAs, Sours and special releases will blow away the traditional ideas and expectations of what beer should be.

Good beer for good people

Our game is making beer by treating our ingredients, our environment, and our community with care and respect. We’re very particular about the malt and hops that we put through our brewery, and about what happens after we’ve used them. Spent grain becomes animal feed at local farms, while all through the brew process we recycle whatever waste water we can and we operate on solar power.

We brew a diverse range to fit any time, place, or person. Since 2012, our beers have made up a steadily expanding and rich cast of characters, but they’re united in their focus on simple enjoyment.

Our full flavoured ales, lagers and everything in between are made with care and without trickery. Our beers are unpasteurised, unfiltered and finings free — which also makes most of our range vegan friendly. With a range consisting of core products and a never ending list of seasonal beers, there is something to suit every punter.

We brew with sociability in mind and make beers that match best with good music, good food, and good company.

Ballistic Bargara

At Ballistic we have a simple theory. Fresh beer is the best beer.

We brought a new taste sensation to beer aficionados across the Wide Bay region with our purchase of Bargara Brewing.

The deal expands the range of beers on offer at the Brewhouse – adding Ballistic’s core range and exciting limited releases to Bargara Brewing favourites like Thirsty Turtle and Rusty Roo.

This site was formerly Bargara Brewing Co.

Burleigh Brewing Co.

All brewing, fermenting, maturing, filtering, bottling, canning — and all the other ‘ings’ — are done by us, in our Burleigh Heads brewery.

Our beer doesn’t just happen. Our dedication to our craft means that we take our time, use carefully selected ingredients, labour over our recipes, design exacting processes and follow them to the letter.

Every step of the brewing process has a significant effect on the final product’s quality, flavour and stability. There’s no use in having standards if you don’t stick to them. So, our standards are non-negotiable.
