No trip to Broome is complete without a visit to Matso’s.

Starting life as Australia’s most remote brewery, the balmy climate of the Kimberley has influenced the fun and flavour-filled beers that Matso’s loves to make.

And more than 20 years on, nothing has changed. The Matso’s range of beers are an escape from the ordinary, delivering a generous dose of Kimberley inspired adventure in every bottle.

It all started with Matso’s Ginger Beer, a brew so popular that holiday makers in Broome would send cartons home for their return. It’s a little easier now to pick up Australia’s favourite Ginger Beer, with the Matso’s range available at bottle shops and bars across the country. Matso’s Ginger Beer sits alongside other fan favourites like Matso’s Mango Beer, and the Matso’s Hard Flavour range.

The laid back atmosphere of the brewery’s restaurant and beer garden is the perfect place to relax with a beer and bite, while looking out across the turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay. With a menu inspired by the multicultural feel of the Kimberley region and the holiday makers that come to visit, there’s something for all tastes. Complementing the full kitchen is the famous Matso’s Curry Hut, serving authentic Indian cuisine, seven days a week throughout the dry season.

Recently renovated, the Matso’s Broome home is a heritage listed building, with a long and proud history in town. Formerly a bank, and later a general store, the striking building’s roots remain front and centre for all to see.

Mash Brewing has been part of the craft beer movement since 2006. We are proud of what we have achieved in those years and look forward to more success to come. We are not about producing the most beer and don’t particularly care for trends, we just like making good beer. We are famous for being seriously unserious. Little Creatures brewing was born from a love of great beer shared by a few good mates. In particular, it was a hop driven pale ale they tasted in the north west of the US that really captured their hearts and gave rise to our signature Pale Ale. From humble beginnings on the water’s edge within the free spirited open-minded community of Fremantle across to our second home & brewery in Geelong, Little Creatures continues to bring people together.
