Olympia | Hiker Brewing
Hiker Brewing will launch its cherry sour called “Olympia” (4.4% abv) on October 1.
This cherry sour was brewed for Olympia Kwitowski, 4BC Brisbane’s Weekend Breakfast host. As a Brisbane local, Olympia took an interest in Hiker Brewing when it announced it would be opening just down the road from her.
Pouring a deep pink, this cherry beer was fermented on coconut and 180 kilograms of cherry puree.

Borealis | Helios Brewing
Helios Brewing has announced the release of “Borealis” (4.6% abv).
This 200-day Pilsner was lagered for six months. It features a crisp mouthfeel, bready malt backbone, assertive bitterness and spicy upfront hop character.

She'll Be Ripe | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “She’ll Be Ripe” (8.3% abv).
This Cherry Old Ale was barrel fermented with cherries and aged with an Old English Brett Strain. It features cherry and leather notes, slight wood tannins and a dry chocolate finish.
Midnight Star | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “Midnight Star” (13.0% abv).
This Imperial Stout combines flavours of dark chocolate and dark fruits and has a lingering whisky barrel finish.
The Full Nelson | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “The Full Nelson” (6.2% abv).
This Hoppy Saison features tropical, citrus and spicy notes. It was brewed with Belgian Pilsner and Aromatic malts, Australian rolled wheat and Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops.
Petit Voix | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “Petit Voix” (5.0% abv).
This Sour Golden Ale was fermented with a Brett Strain. It was conditioned for 6 months in stainless tanks to enhance the bright flavours to enhance its fruit flavours.
The Zaza | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “The Zaza” (5.0% abv).
This Nitro Oatmeal Stout features smooth dark chocolate notes, backed by a light roast malt flavour. It was brewed with Maris Otter, oats, roasted barley, chocolate, biscuit and Crystal Malts.
Not Any IPA | Beer Fontaine
Beer Fontaine has announced the release of “Not Any IPA” (7.5% abv).
This DDH IPA is the brewery’s second big-hopped IPA, made with British malts, rolled oats and Nelson Sauvin in the boil. It is dry hopped with Cryo Mosaic, Citra and Australian Galaxy Hops.

Super Chill Lager | Akasha Brewing Company
Akasha Brewing Company has announced the release of “Super Chill Lager” (4.2% abv).
This brewery has formed a Super Chill subrand, with this lager joining its Super Chill Pacific Ale. Akasha founder Daven Padden and head brewer Gareth Bowen describe the beer as “a classic contemporary lager.” Colder fermentation and plenty of rest time are key to this release, which is made with chit malt, Saaz hops and lager yeast.
This lager will launch this week at the Akasha Taproom, and will be available online and in NSW beer venues soon.
Whinger Ginger Beer | IronBark Hill Brewing Co
IronBark Hill Brewing Co has announced the release of “Whinger Ginger Beer” (5.2% abv).
This single hop American wheat beer has a well-balanced malt profile that complements the addition of sweet yet zesty ginger, which is sourced fresh from the Sunshine Coast.

Trevor | IronBark Hill Brewing Co
IronBark Hill Brewing Co has announced the release of “Trevor” (4.5% abv).
This Red Ale is named after Trevor the cattle dog, who belongs to the team at Hunter Valley events venue, Dashville. It has a subtle toffee and smooth caramel sweetness and a hint of citrus and bitterness.

Fill Your Cup | Hop Nation Brewing Co.
Hop Nation Brewing Co. has announced the release of “Fill Your Cup” (5.6% abv).
This Hazy IPA pours a pale gold with a dense, foamy head. Brewed with Mosaic Incognito, Ekuanot Cryo, Mosaic Cryo and Galaxy hops, it features stone fruit, berry, orange, mango and passionfruit flavours and aromas.

Felons Brewing Co. has announced the release of “Felons x Fox Friday Hazy IPA” (7.2% abv).
Featuring punchy tropical fruit flavours, this beer champions modern American hops, and the use of Bluestone New England yeast gives it a silky-smooth mouthfeel.

Barrel-Aged Stout | Moo Brew
After twelve months in a barrel, the 2022 vintage of Moo Brew’s Barrel-Aged Stout (8.0% abv) has been released.
This Imperial stout was barrel-aged for twelve months in French and American oak casks, with the wood adding depth, complexity and texture.
It has some nice brighter fruit characters — Moo Brew added some new oak to the barrel regime for the 2022 vintage — and plenty of the luxurious, chocolate-and-raisin richness you’d expect.
