Urban Alley Brewery ‘Summer Kiwi Sour’
Australia is once again borrowing from its neighbours across the pond, with this latest beer from Melbourne’s Urban Alley Brewery.
Its Summer Kiwi Sour is a’green and gold’ kettle sour brewed with classic noble hops and German ale yeast. Summer Kiwi Sour comes in at 3.5% ABV and is a light bodied brew exhibiting notes of kiwi and pear.
Sauce Brewing Co ‘Trubble & Squeak’
Sydney’s Sauce Brewing Co last week relaunched its Trubble & Squeak mango double NEIPA, which the brewery said was its biggest hit in 2018.
Originally brewed for GABS 2018, Sauce has taken the brew and beefed it up to 9% ABV and also adding a big dose of real mango. The Sauce crew are calling this beer “super smooth, juicy, fluffy and dangerously drinkable”.
Nail Brewing ‘Red Ale’
Western Australian brewery Nail Brewing has today re-released its Red Ale. Debuted in 2014 as the fourth beer in Nails’ Brew Log Collection, the American-inspired Red Ale now has a whole new look in cans.
Red Ale has been dry hopped with US hop Citra, lending it a fruity aroma, smooth mouthfeel and a hint of caramel towards the end. This brew comes in at 6% ABV.
Bright Brewery ‘Dive Bomb’ citrus summer ale
Bright Brewery invites you to dive into summer with its latest release, the Dive Bomb citrus summer ale. Brewed with mountain water, Dive Bomb is a bonafide bomb of flavour featuring citrus characters of ginger, lemon peel and lemondrop hops.
At 4.8% ABV, Bright Brewery has labeled this brew a kolsch-style summer ale. Brewed for its Brew for a Day experience, Dive Bomb is now available at the brewery and to members of its Mash Club.
Jetty Road ‘Draught’
Jetty Road Brewery has this week released its third packaged beer. Named the Jetty Road Draught, this new release comes in at 4.4% ABV and has been described by the brewery as a “thirst-quenching satisfaction”.
Brewed in the style of a traditional European draught, this beer has been brewed with Motueka hops to give it a Jetty Road twist.
Bright Brewery ‘TREEEHop’ pale ale
Brought to you by the letter E, Bright Brewery’s TREEEHop pale ale was is brewed withEkuanot, Enigma and Eureka hops.This hop trio, added through a double-dry-hop process, provides TREEEHop with an assertive bitterness and intense tropical fruit and dark berry flavours with subtle melon and raspberry.
With a deep golden colour, this strong pale ale comes in at 6% ABV and is described by the brewery as “bold, gutsy and adventurous”.
Pale, Wheat, Dark Munich and Pale Crystal malts give this American-style Pale Ale subtle notes of sweet biscuit to finish. A limited run, this ‘brewer’s choice’ beer by Bright Brewery’s head brewer Richard Chamberlin, is available at the brewery and to members of its Mash Club.
Revel Brewing Co ‘Goulburn Valley Gose’ collaboration brew
Let us welcome Revel Brewing Co‘s first limited-release beer for 2019. This Goulburn Valley Gose was brewed by Shepparton schoolmates Matt Cuthbert of Revel Brewing Co and Dan Dainton of Dainton Brewery.
Inspired by the fruitful Goulburn Valley region, this Gose is naturally salty and sour with additions of passionfruit and lychee. There will only be 10 kegs and 40 cartons available from January 21. Pre-orders are now open to Revel stockists.
