REINVIGAM8 Hydration Ale, Stone & Wood Brewing Co

Stone & Wood Brewing Co has debuted its sixth limited release beer in its Counter Culture range.

REINVIGAM8 is a 2.7% abv citrus-flavoured gose, brewed with orange peel and juice.

The beer is made using Berrett’s pale, Caramunich 2 and wheat malt along with lactobacillus.

Extra additions include sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium.

It will be available to purchase from Monday 3rd February, with stockists still to be announced.

Strawberry Milkshake IPA, Green Beacon Brewing Co

Strawberry Milkshake IPA is Green Beacon Brewing Co’s latest beer release celebrating its seventh birthday.

It has a strawberry flavour boosted by Hull Melon Hops, along with coconut, vanilla and hibiscus, according to the brewers.

The beer is 7.0% abv and is available now at the Green Beacon brewery in Brisbane and select stockists.

DDH Oat Cream IPA, Otherside Brewing Co

Otherside Brewing Co has released its new limited edition double dry hopped Oat Cream IPA.

Otherside says it has passionfruit, melon and citrus flavours along with lactose and vanilla for a milkshake texture.

At 6.2% abv it is currently available at the Otherside venues and will be available Australia wide from 10th February.

Dry Haze, Balter Brewing Company

Balter Brewing Company has teamed up with Yakima Chief and Garage Project for a collaboration beer, Dry Haze.

Two versions of the beer have been brewed, one at Yakima Valley and the other at Balter.

Both showcase Yakima Chief’s new Sabro hops blended with Motueka hops at Balter and Galaxy at the Garage.

Balter says the 6.0% dry hazy brews each have their own unique blend of tropical fruits, citrus, tangerine and coconut.

Both versions are limited release and available now from select stockists.

Melon DeGeneres, Moon Dog Craft Brewery

Melon DeGeneres is the newest limited release from Moon Dog Craft Brewery, a watermelon Sour Ale.

The 4.5% abv sour includes Pale and Wheat malt along with American Ale yeast and Lactobacillus.

Moon Dog says to expect earthy, herbal and floral notes from the added Saaz Hop and a watermelon flavour.

Available now in Victoria and Australia-wide on 31st January in cans and keg.

Mango IPA and Aussie IPA, Jetty Road Brewery

Jetty Road Brewery have released two IPA’s, Mango IPA and Aussie IPA.

First up, the 6.2% Mango IPA is made of North Queensland Mango’s.

Hop types include Citra, Cashmere and Mosaic along with a dry-hopping of Sabro, EL Dorado and Ekuanot.

Available on tap and cans at Jetty Road and select bottleshops.

Aussie IPA was brewed in celebration of HopQuest 2020.

Its brewed using Pale, Wheat, Enigma, Vic Secret and Galaxy Hops.

It will be available in cans and on tap at Jetty Road Brewery on 25th January.

All Australian IPA, Akasha Brewing Company

Akasha Brewing Company has released an All Australian IPA, brewed in the West Coast IPA style.

Akasha said it was brewed to showcase the ingredients available in Australia.

It includes Galaxy and Cascade hops alongside malted barley resulting in a hop forward IPA.

Available now from select stockists.

Cold One Australian Pale Ale, Ballistic Beer Co

Cold One is Ballistic Brewing Co’s latest release, an pale ale with all-Australian ingredients.

Ballistic say its light and fruity, with small citrus and tropical notes from the Enigma and Galaxy hops.

Malt added includes Ale, Wheat and Oats along with US 05 yeast.

At 4.5%, It is available at Ballistic Beer Co Salisbury, Ballistic Westend and selected venues and bottle shops

Funky Pineapple Hand Grenade Brett IPA, Wayward Brewing Co

Wayward Brewing Co has now made its Funky Pineapple Hand Grenade Brett IPA available in cans.

Funky Pineapple is a West Coast IPA with tropical pineapple, mango and peach flavours.

The beer is 100% fermented using Wayward’s house strain of Brettanomyces adding a complexity and a dry finish with a hint of tartness.

Wayward will be celebrating the release with a Summer Luau Party on the 1st of February.

Beerfarm, Pineapple Cranberry Sour

A re-invention of its Pineapple Berliner Weisse, Beerfarm has launched its Pineapple Cranberry Sour as part of its Weird Good range.

Beerfarm’s brewers saved some of its pineapple sour, and barrel-aged it for 12 months before blending with a 2020 pineapple sour.

Beerfarm said this will ad to its complexity, with pineapple aroma complemented with Mosaic as well as Magnum hops. In addition, it contains Pale Malt, Wheet Malt, Rolled Barley and Cara-Pills.

The blending of the vintages will add a complexity to the sour with oak characters and notes of brettanomyces, the team said.

But this barrel-aged sour is extremely limited edition, so get it while you can.

Not Your Average Plum Gose, Mismatch Brewing Company

Mismatch Brewing Company has teamed up with head chef of Lot 100, Shannon Fleming, for this collaboration brew.

The added native Davidson plum has a sharp acidic taste that’s rich in antioxidants, according to the brewer.

At 2.9% abv it has a Berliner kettle sour base and a salty profile from added Murray Riverland salt.

Mismatch said you can expect lemon sourness, herbal characters and a noticeable saltiness.

Blame It On My Juice and Hopped Across The Ditch, Two Birds Brewing

Blame It On My Juice is the first of two new keg releases from Two Birds Brewing.

At 7.7% abv the NEIPA is brewed using El Dorado, Galaxy, Calypso and Equanot hops.

The second release, Hopped Across The Ditch, is a New Zealand Pilsner.

It combines New Zealand hop varieties Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin, along with NZ pilsner malt.

Hazy Pale Mango Ale, Felons Brewing Co

Felons Brewing Co have released a Hazy Pale Mango Ale.

It’s a 5.8% abv tropical pale ale brewed using 200 litres of Queensland Mango Puree.

Pale, Vienna and Wheat malt is used along with lots of Galaxy hops for a tropical passionfruit flavour.

It’s currently available on tap at Felons Brewing Co.

White Peach Sour, Ballistic Beer Co

White Peach Sour is the latest addition to the Ballistic Beer Co twang sour range.

At 4.6% abv, its brewed using Ballistic’s old kettle sour recipe with the addition of white peach.

Pale and Wheat malt is used along with US 05 yeast and Lactobacillus Plantarum.

Hazy India Pale Ale and Dry Hopped Lager, Green Beacon Brewing Co

Green Beacon Brewing Co have two new additions to their core in house tap range.

The first brew is a Hazy Indian Pale Ale with citrus, grapefruit and passionfruit flavours.

The second release is a 5.0% abv Dry-Hopped Lager with restrained bitterness and a dry finish.

Lager 3.5, Heads of Noosa

The Sunshine Coast’s Heads of Noosa has introduced its Lager 3.5, a mid-strength lager.

It’s made with a blend of specialty malts and fermented cold for a clean and crisp mouthfeel, according to Heads of Noosa’s brewers.

It’s filtered and comes in at 3.5% abv.

Strawberry Sour, Beerfarm

Strawberry Sour is Beerfarm’s latest limited edition strawberry and lime Sour Ale.

1.4 tonnes of strawberry were added to the tank along with a hint of lime and mint to create its fruity flavour.

At 4.6% abv it was brewed in support of the farmers behind Mal’s Black Label strawberries.

Pale, Cara-pils, Wheat and Rolled Oats Malt are used along with Magnum and Sorachi Ace hops.

Blush Wild Berry Sour Ale, Holgate Brewhouse

Holgate Brewhouse have released a new Sour Ale, inspired by their original Hop Tart Sour Ale.

The 4.6% abv wild berry take on the original includes raspberry and blueberry to create a fruity flavour.

Australian Pale, Munich and Wheat malts are combined with Ella, Citra, Galaxy and Topaz Hops.

The brew is currently available at select bottleshops.

Sabarillo, Sauce Brewing Co

Sabarillo is the third release in Sauce Brewing Co’s dual-hop double dry-hopped series.

It has been double dry-hopped with a combination of Sabro and Amarillo hops to produce a tropical flavour with a hint of coconut.

At 6.9% abv the special batch is currently available in Sydney and will be available nationwide next week.

Promised Land, The Grifter Brewing Company

Marrickville’s Grifter Brewing Company has launched its own take on the English pale ale.

Gifter says it’s sessionable and balanced, an all-English recipe using Golden Promise malt.

The 4.5% abv ale retains fruity esters from the yeast and a mix of herbal and citrus hop aromas, it said.
