Beer-Water Beer & G3 | Stone & Wood Brewing Co
Stone & Wood Brewing Co has brewed a beer using purified wastewater in celebration of World Water Day on the 22nd of March.
The wastewater used was water left over after brewing beer, which was processed through an ultra filtration and reverse osmosis system.
It has also released the seventh limited release in its Counter Culture series, G3.
The Counter Culture range sees a new beer released every 10 weeks, featuring new recipes as well as pilot-batch beers from the past.
G3 is a hazy DIPA brewed with Galaxy, Pale, Wheat, Rolled Wheat and Rolled Oats and New England yeast.
At 7.6% abv, Stone & Wood say the beer is 13 times more dry-hopped with Galaxy than its Pacific Ale.
Belgian Golden Ale & Sweetart Sour Ale | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has released the Belgian Golden Ale as part of its 2019 Barrel Series.
The Belgian Golden Ale was aged for six months in Mayford Shiraz barrels and has additions of cherry puree and almond.
At 8.6% abv it includes East Kent Golding hops, Pale and Wheat malt as well as Belgian Saison yeast.
Bright’s Sour Range also has a new addition, welcoming Kiwi Sweetart Sour Ale to the lineup.
At 4.3% abv it the kiwi fruit sour ale includes Loral hops, Pale, Munich and Wheat Malt along with American Ale yeast.
Golden fruit kiwi puree was added as well as sea salt.
Espresso Martini | Modus Operandi Brewing
Modus Operandi Brewing has released its Espresso Martini Dark Lager.
Modus says beans from Allpress Espresso were used, and itwas initially brewed for Good Beer Week and GABS festival limited to Victoria, though is now an online-only release.
At 6% abv it is available to purchase now directly from the Modus website.
Leons NEIPA & Timothy Tamothy Slamothy| Moon Dog Craft Brewery
Moon Dog Craft Brewery has released the next beer in its doggo mates series, Leons NEIPA.
It has been dry-hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Motueka and Mosaic.
London Fog yeast was used along with Pale, Wheat Flaked malt and Golden Naked Oats.
Also newly released is Timothy Tamothy Slamothy, a chocolate biscuit milk Stout.
Lactose and cacoa was added to boost the chocolate biscuit nature of the beer.
Malt types used include Ale, Caramel Steam, Golden Naked Oats, Amber, Chocolate, Carafa and Rolled Oats.
West Coast Juicy IIPA | Otherside Brewing Co
West Coast Juicy IIPA is the newest addition to Otherside Brewing Co’s Experimental series.
At 8.4% abv it has medium to low bitterness and includes Mosaic, Vic Secret and Bravo hops.
Otherside say the beer bridges the gap between the juiciness of a new school hazy and the hop structure of a classic West Coast Double IPA.
Don’t Know About That Simcoe Hop, Tempest and Lamington Ale | Deeds Brewing
Deeds first release, Don’t Know About That Simcoe Hop, is the first of its new solo hop series.
The series will explore beers that will include only one hop type and first up is Simcoe.
The 8.5% abv beer is a Hazy DIPA including Simcoe, Pale, Oat, Wheat malt and Flaked Barley.
Next up, the 8.8% abv Tempest is a limited release in collaboration with Carwyn.
Deeds say to expect heavy notes of passionfruit and pineapple from the Hazy DIPA.
Galaxy and Vic Secret hops are used along with pale, Oat, wheat malt and flaked barley.
Lastly, Lamington Ale, an English brown ale inspired by Australia’s love of Lamingtons.
It includes Warrior hops along with pale, wheat, Carapils, Chocolate and Caramunich 1 malt.

Blueberry Imperial Sour and Helles Lager | Modus Operandi Brewing Co
Modus Operandi Brewing Co has released Helles Lager in collaboration with Brewgooder for the Global Gathering campaign.
The campaign aims to bring 100,000 people access to clean water through the power of beer, seeing 350 breweries world wide joining in.
The 5.2% abv beer includes Euro Pils Malt which was donated by Beer Co.
It will be available on tap from the 20th of March at the Modus’ Mona Vale brewery.
The 8% abv Blueberry Imperial Sour is the second released from Modus, available for a limited time.
500 kilogrammes of fresh blueberries were added in to create a tart, blueberry flavour.
Sabro Single-Hop IPA | Ballistic Beer Co
Ballistic Brewing Co has announced its latest limited release in its Single Hop IPA range, the Sabro IPA.
Ballistic say the range is made with a simple pale malt base recipe, allowing them to explore and showcase the unique flavours and aromas of different hop varietals.
At 6.1% abv it includes Sabro hops and US 05 yeast along with Pale and Cara Hell malt.
It is available now at all Ballistic Beer venues and at selected venues and retailers.
P.O.G IPA | Mountain Goat Beer
P.O.G is the first-ever canned limited release from Mountain Goat Beer.
The IPA was brewed with Gladfield American Ale, Vienna, Crystal Light, Gladiator and Crystal Medium malt.
Amarillo, El Dorado, Citra and Strata hops were used along with passionfruit, orange and guava juice from New South Wales.
Mountain Goat say to expect fruity characters and a classic IPA flavour from dry-hopping.
At 7.0% abv it is available now in 375 ml cans from selected stockists.
Triple-1-Three/Otherside Brewing | RSRCH
Otherside Brewing’s parent company Triple-1-Three, has launched its own experimental vintage wine.
Triple-1-Three teamed up with local winemaker Adrian Kelly for the small-batch release, which includes a 14.1% abv Merlot and 12.2% abv Pinot Gris.
The Pinot Gris grapes were sourced from the Franklin River region and include the last white wine grapes picked in WA vintage.
The Merlot grapes are from the Great Southern region of WA.
Brand manager Sally Tucker said RSRCH represented the group’s response to a growing demand from its customers and Brewhouse community for wine.
Both wines are ‘low intervention’ meaning they are free from chemical intervention and physical invention in the wine making process.
RSRCH is now available at the Otherside Brewhouse in Myaree.
Full range | BentSpoke Brewing Co
BentSpoke Brewing Co is moving most of its award-winning range into premium wide lip cans.
Bentspoke say the most was necessary to keep up with rapidly increasing distribution, due to a worldwide production halt in 360 rip lids.
From March, premium range beers will make the move, including Crankshaft, Barley Griffin, Red Nut, Easy Ale and Mort’s Gold will all go into wide lip cans, as well as Drifter, Free Wheeler and Bending Spoke series.
Bentspoke confirmed that no changes have been make to the brewing or packaging process for any beer.
Sex On The Beach Sour | Willie the Boatman
Willie the Boatman has released the newest addition to its Cocktail Sour series, the Sex On The Beach Sour.
The 4.2% abv beer includes Nugget hops, Pale and wheat malt with a small addition of Vienna.
Large additions of peach puree and whole cranberries were added, giving the beer a blend of sweet and sour notes.
120 cases are now available for purchase.
Guillotines | Cheeky Monkey Brewery
Guillotines is the newest East Coast IPA release from Cheeky Money Brewery.
Mosaic, Galaxy, Ella and Amarillo hops are used in the beer along with additions of orange, mango and melon.
Cheeky Monkey say it has been double dry-hopped with a firm bitterness and haze.
At 6.5% abv it is available for a limited time.
Fear and Loathing in Brewsvegas | Deeds Brewing
Deeds Brewing has a new Brewsvegas release in collaboration with the Bloodhound Corner Bar.
Fear and Loathing in Brewsvegas is a 6% abv Hazy IPA with Sabro, Citra and Galaxy hops.
Malt types used include Pale, Wheat, Flakes Wheat and Dextrose.
The beer is available now from select stockists and the Deeds online store.
Mango Pineapple Sour | Lost Palms Brewing Co
Lost Palms Brewing Co has teamed up with international spirits company, Dead Man’s Fingers Rum, for a new release ‘spiked’ sour.
The beer is a 6.5% abv Fruited Kettle Soured Berliner Weisse blended with coconut rum.
Lost Palms’ sales representative Zak Nalder said that the collaboration was inspired by the use of sour beers in cocktails mixing.
“We experimented with Dead Man’s Fingers Rum range in a few of our existing sour styles until we honed in on the Coconut Rum variant as the most potential for blending into a sour beer,” he said.
The flavour is reminiscent of piña coladas and tropical fruit with slight sourness, balanced by the sweetness of the coconut rum, the Lost Palms team said.
It will launch on the 15th of March at Bine Bar & Dining in Nobbys Beach.
Red XPA | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has announced the return of Red XPA, coinciding with the autumn season.
The Red Ale has a grain bill comprising of 92 per cent Red X as well as Pale and Melanoidin malt.
Other additions include Amarillo, Centennial, Citra and Columbus hops along with American Ale yeast.
Bright say the Red XPA was brought to life by head brewer Reid Stratton, with the original huge malt hit and a deep ruby red colour.
It is available now at Bright Brewery and through select stockists.
Epsom Stout | Braeside Brewing Co
Braeside Brewing Co has released a new beer, the Epsom Stout.
The beer is made using seven grains, including Honey and Chocolate malt as well as Roasted Barley and Rolled Oats.
It includes East Kent Golding hops, Epsom salts and tastes of roasted coffee, burnt biscuit and almonds, say Braeside’s brewers.
At 4.5% the beer is available now at Braeside Brewing Co.
Road Trip IPA | Holgate Brewhouse
Holgate Brewhouse has released its Road Trip IPA in new 375ml cans.
The 6.0% abv beer contains Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic hops.
Pine, citrus and tropical fruit flavours can be expected, backed by a foundation of bitterness.
The cans are available to purchase now at select bottle shops and venues.
Vampyre Lovers Red IPA | Akasha Brewing Company
Akasha Brewing Company has teamed up with Newstead Brewing Co to release a collaboration Red IPA.
Akasha say the beer is a tipping of the hat to 1980’s Brisbane punk rock band ‘Vampyre Lovers’.
Sabro and Bru-1 hop varieties are added to a Red malt base creating pineapple, coconut, vanilla and passionfruit flavours.
The beer will be available for a limited time at the Akasha and Newstead breweries.
Low Hanging Fruit DNEIPA | Deeds Brewing
The Low Hanging Fruit DNEIPA is the latest limited release drop by Deeds Brewing.
The beer is the first of a series of DIPAS Deeds plan to release in 2020.
Deeds say it contains mango and pineapple and has been heavily hopped.
At 8% abv it is available for a limited time at select stockists, as well as on tap at the Deeds Brewery.
Fortune Teller | The Grifter Brewing Co
The Grifter Brewing Co has teamed up with Future Mountain Brewing for a new collaborative beer release.
Fortune Teller is a 4.9% abv Witbier with fresh blueberries and dried lavender additions.
Warrior and Rakau hops were used in the beer along with Pilsner and Wheat malts.
Grifter says it is a delightful marriage of fruit, floral and spice characters, with a lovely deep lilac colour.
It is available now, tapped at Grifter Brewing Co.
Blackberry Gose | Black Brewing Co
Blackberry Gose is the latest autumn inspired beer release from Black Brewing Co.
At 5% abv Black say it’s a salty beer with low bitterness and subtle tartness from the additions of black berries.
Blackberry Gose is available on tap and in select venues across throughout Perth and the south west.
In the lead up to International Women’s Day on Sunday 8th March, brewers across the country have been brewing special edition beers in support of the cause.
Siduri Brut | Jetty Road Brewery
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Jetty Road Brewery has released its Siduri Brut.
Brewed by the female staff at Jetty Road, the 6.2% abv IPA sought inspiration from Brut Champagne.
Jetty Road’s brewers say it is dry with a Sauvignon Blanc character from generous late additions of Nelson Sauvin hop.
The brew team for the Siduri Brut included women across the business, from sales, events, marketing, design, front of house and accounts.
It will be available from the 7th March on tap at Jetty Road Brewery.
Mandarin and Grapefruit Fresh Ale | Gage Roads Brewing Co
An all-female team at Gage Roads Brewing Co is celebrating International Women’s Day with a limited release ale.
The brew includes real grapefruit juice along with mandarin and a hop line up that amplifies a citrus and mango flavour.
“The project was an opportunity to highlight the passion of women at many steps of the beer making journey – from brewing, quality, design and marketing,” said the Gage Roads team.
It will be available on tap from March 8th for a limited time at select venues.
FREE THE NEIPA | Young Henrys Brewing
Young Henrys Brewing has released FREE THE NEIPA.
It was brewed specially for this year’s International Women’s Day inspired by the #freethenipple campaign.
Young Henrys say the hazy NEIPA was led by the women of Young Henrys and 10 per cent of profits from the sale of the beer to the Two Good Co, a social enterprise that supports vulnerable women regain their independence.
The beer was infused with bergamot citrus fruit, with Taiheke and Denali, Lemondrop, Azacca, Ariana and the Pink Boots blend at various dry hop stages.
At 5.8% abv it includes Pale, Rolled Wheat and Rolled Oats.
Marion | BentSpoke Brewing Co
BentSpoke Brewing Co‘s Marion has been brewed to celebrate International Women’s Day, inspired by the “alewives”, women who were almost solely responsible for beer making in days gone by.
The beer is an as yet unrevealed style but features The Pink Boots Society’s Hop Blend.
“This beer celebrates the lesser known contributions of women,” according to Tracy Margrain, co-owner and brewer.
“With that in mind, we’ve decided to name the beer Marion, after Marion Mahony Griffin, the architect who helped shape Canberra, but is often forgotten in the city’s narrative.”
BentSpoke’s International Women’s Day beer will launch at the brewpub on Sunday, 8th March.

Frequin Good Cider | Willie Smiths
Willie Smiths has dropped Frequin Good Cider in cans after a sell-out keg release.
Biittersweet and highly-tannic Frequin Rouge apples were used in the cider along with smaller additions of Yarlington Mill, Pink Lady, Fuji and Royal Gala.
“Drinkers want to enjoy these complex, textural ciders at home too, so moving into cans was a natural step,” explained Willie Smith’s co-founder Sam Reid.
It is available for a limited time for visitors to takeaway from Willie Smith’s Apple Shed in Grove, Tasmania.
It is also available in a select number of independent retailers in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, as well as in ACT and Queensland from the first week of March.
Sunset Haze | Endeavour Brewing Co
Sunset Haze is the latest single batch brew pouring at Endeavour Brewing Co.
Endeavour says it is very hazy from the yeast and dry-hopping, with a “fluffy and meringue-like” white head due to its inclusion of oats.
At 6.4% abv it is medium bodied with an upfront fruity and citrus character that finishes reasonably dry.
Hop varieties include Galaxy, Mosaic, Cascade and Citra along with Schooner, Carapils, Malted Oats and Trad Ale malts.
Dayspring Hazy IPA | Bodriggy Brewing Co
Bodriggy Brewing Co has teamed up with Fancy Hank’s restaurant in Melbourne to release a new limited edition IPA.
At 6.7% abv It has been double dry-hopped with Azacca and Cashmere hops and has notes of candied mango, passionfruit and pineapple.
Bodriggy say the beer highlights the Kveik yeast, which gives almost gummy, spiced notes that linger.
It will be available for a limited time in 355ml cans and in kegs.
NEIPA | Burnley Brewing
Burnley Brewing is releasing its NEIPA to a wider audience.
It is currently available at Burnley brewpub and select venues in Victoria and will be available at additional venues on the 10th of March.
At 6.5% abv, Burnley’s brewers say it is juicy, hazy, low-bitterness and full-bodied with stone fruit and tropical aromas.
Northern Beaches Lager | 4 Pines Brewing Company
4 Pines Brewing Co has released a new brew in collaboration with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
The Northern Beaches Lager is currently being canned and will be released in time for kick-off on the 15th March.
At 4.2% abv and 25 IBU it will be available in 375ml cans for a limited time.
