Western Australian brewery Gage Roads has released its flagship WA beer Alby in cans. Good Drinks’ Miles Hull said that Alby cans perfectly match WA’s outdoor lifestyle.

“Alby cans and outdoor events go hand in hand. Cans are lighter, cool down faster and are easier to dispose of when you’re done,” Hull said.

A transducer is a device that transforms one form of energy into another.

This sparkling ale is Newstead’s “hat tip” to the now iconic arts venue and also to a special chapter of Brisbane’s history.

‘’At Newstead Brewing Co. we like to champion where we come from and this opportunity to partner with Brisbane Powerhouse to support the arts scene is a great fit,’’ Newstead Brewing Co. brand manager Darren Magin said.

The 4.9% ABV beer, which won a silver medal at the recent Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show awards, is described as a classic Aussie sparkling ale brewed with tropical hops, a delicate yeast and a pale malt base.

Finally the perfect season

La Sirène Brewing unveil their third can in the range, Farmhouse-Style SEASON ALE.

season-ale-squareThis straw-coloured easy drinking Farmhouse Ale weighs in at a very balanced 4.0% ABV and has been fermented with the signature La Sirène house yeast to deliver the house flavour profile before being liberally dry-hopped with southern hemisphere hops to give it a fresh limey vibe.

Chief Artisan & Co-founder Costa Nikias says: ‘‘The Season Ale was initially made solely for kegs at the end of 2018 and was designed simply to quench the thirsts of our brewery workers; being modern day saisonnières… We couldn’t help but wonder how amazingly refreshing this beer would be in tinnies as the ultimate provision format and so we decided to can it for all.’’

‘‘Here at La Sirène Brewing we tend to naturally gravitate towards creating artisan ales with a layered complexity so creating a paired back version of our classic Farmhouse Ales was no easy task to begin with and many revisions later, we kept stripping back the complexity to reveal a refreshing simplicity that speaks of place and every season.’’
