Hard Seltzer | Lost Palms Brewing Co

The Gold Coast’s Lost Palms Brewing Co has launched the first in its series of Hard Seltzers.

Lost Palms said that the beverage is 100 per cent natural, made like a lightly-flavoured soda but brewed from malt instead of distilled spirits.

It’s made with real peaches, making it low in calories, carbohydrates and sugar as well as being gluten free and vegan

It’s available in cans from the taproom takeaway window at 11 Oak Ave, Miami QLD 4220.

Hazy02 | Modus Operandi Brewing Co

Sydney’s Modus Operandi Brewing Co has launched its Hazy 02, which it says is a big, juicy 6% abv hazy.

It brings in Mosaic hops as well as El Dorado and Australia’s homegrown Galaxy with an in-house strain of hazy yeast.

It’s currently being rolled out to stockists and is available on the online store.

Ella Fresh Hop Hazy DDH SHIPA | Revel Brewing Co

Brisbane’s Revel Brewing Co has released its latest addition, its Ella Fresh Hop, Hazy Double Dry Hopped Single Hop IPA.

The 6.5% abv beer puts the spotlight on the Ella hop variety, and the Revel team fermented the beer with their favourite hazy yeast and dry hopped the beer twice with the Ella flowers.

There are only 100 cases available, so visit Revel’s online store to get hold of some.

Johnny Smoke Porter | Wolf of the Willows

Wolf of the Willows fan favourite Johnny Smoke Porter is back, now available in a new can.

It’s smoky with an earthy hop bitterness and diminishes of dark chocolate and espresso, according to the Wolf of the Willows team.

Magical Easter Unicorn | Bridge Road Brewers

Magical Easter Unicorn is the a new release from Bridge Road Brewers.

The 6% abv chocolate ale made is the last of the brewers unicorn-themed releases for 2020.

Available in 330ml bottles, Bridge Road say the beer contains lactose for a creamy chocolate taste.

The beer is currently available to purchase through the Bridge Road Brewers website for a limited time.

Wet Willie | Willie the Boatman

Willie the Boatman has released Wet Willie, a 5.2% abv wet hop hazy pale ale.

The beer was brewed using large amounts of freshly picked Enigma hop flowers, which were shipped overnight from the vine to the brewery and used in late whirlpool additions before the beer was dry hopped with Galaxy and Topaz.

Malt types used include Pale, Wheat, Oats, Munich and Vienna.

You can expect a slight bitterness in the beer with flavours of orange, citrus and pine, say Willie the Boatman’s brewers.

Apple Berry Beer and 2020 Millennium Falcon | Holgate Brewhouse

Apple Berry Beer and 2020 Millennium Falcon are the two new releases from Holgate Brewhouse.

Millennium Falcon was first brewed in 2013 to mark Holgate’s 1,000th beer.

This years release has a reduced abv of 9% and features Mosaic, Azacca, Cashmere and Calypso hops.

Apple Berry Beer is a 4% abv beer brewed with locally grown Harcourt Orchard apples, Granny Smith apples with an addition of raspberry.

Holgate says its a beer for people who may not like the taste of ‘normal’ beers, with a fruitiness similar to a cider.

Deep Space Haze | Aether Brewing

Brisbane’s Aether Brewing has released a new wet hop Hazy Pale Ale to its line up.

Expect notes of mango, pear and passionfruit, says Aether’s brewers, along with citrus characters from the addition of Galaxy hops.

Cashmere and Centennial hops were added in along with Pale and Vienna malt.

At 5.2% abv it has an IBU of 20 and is available from the Aether online store and taproom for pick up.

Pandemic Punch and Rye-Solation | Dainton Brewery

Dainton Brewery has two new limited release beers, made from a blend of its excess kegs of beer, left over due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

“As with many businesses in the current climate, we’ve had to get a little creative in our plans,” said co-founder Dan Dainton.

“The idea of taking some of our orphaned kegs and blending them into two completely new beers is something we’ve never done before until now.”

“The two beers will certainly be slightly different in flavour than the norm, though we are known for our innovation and pushing the boundaries of beer.”

Pandemic Punch is a 6.6% abv beer made with a blend of Neipa and fruit beers while Rye-Solation is a blend of Rye Ale and Rye Porter releases.

Hazy Heaven | Barossa Valley Brewing

Barossa Valley Brewing has released Hazy Heaven, its annual wet hop beer for 2020.

The Neipa, like previous years, was brewed using fruit and hops from the breweries local hop farm, Hills Hops Victoria.

It is available now for a limited time from select stockists.

Enigma Wet Hop IPA | Capital Brewing Co

Capital Brewing Co has partnered with Hop Products Australia for its new crowler release.

The Enigma Wet Hop IPA contains hops harvested at the Hop Products Australia farm and brought straight to the brewery.

A total 40kg of Enigma Hop cones were picked and at the brewery ready for the boil within 24 hours.

At 6% abv the beer includes Pale, Wheat and Medium Crystal malt.

The beer is available for a limited time to Canberra residents only.

Melbourne Storm 2020 | Brick Lane Brewing

Last year Victoria’s Brick Lane Brewing released the first official beer of rugby league club Melbourne Storm, and while the season might have been shut down, the brewery went ahead and brewed a special edition Storm Lager anyway.

There are three different designs per case, and the sessionable lager is now available online for delivery or collection from the Dandy Bottle Shop at 41 Imagine Way, Dandenong South.

Customers can also collect cases over the long weekend from the Queen Victoria Markets.

Brick Lane will be open Thursday 9 April from 10am-3pm, closed Good Friday, open Easter Saturday 10am-4pm and Easter Sunday 10am-4pm.

Wooden Leg Triple IPA and Hazy Mosaic IPA | Akasha Brewing Co

Akasha Brewing Co’s Birthday brew is the Wooden Leg Triple IPA, available in the tasting room and making its way to stockists today.

Additionally, Akasha has launched its Hazy Mosaic IPA, a 6.2% abv brew with Akasha’s brewers’ favourite Mosaic hops. The team said it is “busting with tropical fruit, peach and melon on the nose and palate, balanced by a moderate bitterness and light malt base.”

El Capitan Hazy IIPA | Wayward Brewing Co

Sydney’s Wayward Brewing Co’s latest limited release is the El Capitan Hazy IIPA

The 7.6% abv beer is East Coast inspired, with a hop bill consisting of Galaxy, Bravo, CTZ with a dry hop of Citra and Simcoe.

Wayward’s brewers say it has “intense” layers of mango, papaya and citrus with a smooth mouthfeel and just enough bitterness to balance the ABV.

It is currently being canned fresh and is available to pre-order now. Wayward is also doing deals on its core range cases until the end of April.

Bao Bao Milk Stout | Black Brewing Co

WA’s Black Brewing Co has launched its Bao Bao Milk Stout.

“It is super smooth and sessionable. Chocolate is just the beginning,” said brewer Shannon Grigg.

The 4.5% abv milk stout is available in 375ml cans in 4 and 16 packs.

While the doors to its taproom are closed, the stout will be available at local craft beer specialist liquor stores this week as well as on Black Brewing Co’s new website www.blackbrewingco.com.au and from its Margaret River Cellar Door.

Thundercloud Vol 2: Ruby Red Grapefruit “Paloma” Sour IPA | Bodriggy Brewing Co

Bodriggy Brewing Co’s latest is inspired by the Paloma cocktail, consisting of grapefruit, tequila, lime and soda.

Comet, Motueka and Citra were used to dry hop.

The beer comes in at 6.7% abv and includes 220 litres of grapefruit puree, 80 litres of lime juice and 2kgs of pink Himalayan salt.

Archers Son IPA | Braeside Brewing Co

Coming in at 6.4% abv, Braeside Brewing Co’s Archers Son IPA is a cross between a West Coast and an English IPA, according to its brewers.

The team says it has toffee and caramel notes with freshness coming from Hallertau Blanc and Denali hops.

It’s available from the Braeside taproom, which is currently open for growler takeaways.

Taproom Series | Wayward Brewing Co

Wayward Brewing Co has released its new Taproom Series, aiming to provide previously taproom-only beers to customers while they are in lockdown.

There are 250 cases available with 500 cans of each style being produced.

The beer lineup includes an IPA, Mexican Lager, Peach Iced tea Seltzer, English Dark Ale, Munich Lager and a Porter.

The limited release beer is available to pre order now and will be ready to ship out Monday 13th of April.

DDH AU.NZ Oat Cream | Otherside Brewing Co

Otherside Brewing Co has released DDH AU.NZ Oat Cream.

At 6.8% abv it includes Vic Secret, Rakau and Nelson Sauvin hops as well as Pale, Wheat, Oats, Rye and Triticale.

Expect flavours of orchard and stone fruit with a creamy texture from the lactose and oat, said Otherside.

It is available now both at the Otherside Brewhouse for take away and at select stockists.

Alll Together | Brick Lane Brewing Co

Brick Lane Brewing Co has teamed up with Other Half Brewing, Carwyn Cellars and Maha Go to brew its All Together Hazy IPA.

Brick Lane said the collaboration aims to support those who help make beer such a wonderful community to be apart of, in a difficult time.

Every case sold will help provide two-person meals to someone in hospitality that is doing it tough right now.

The healthy, highly nutritious meals will be personally prepared by Australian chef, Shane Delia.

Pre-orders will be taken on the Brick Lane and Carwyn Cellars websites from 10am this Friday 3rd April.

The Hazy Series | Modus Operandi Brewing Co

NSW’s Modus Operandi Brewing Co has launched its Hazy Series.

The brewers are launching the series in honour of some of their best known and loved beers, including Future Factory, Tropical Contact High and Dream Weaver.

Launching next week in time for Easter is the super fresh 5% abv Hazy, canning the week of release, which uses hop heavyweight favourites Galaxy, Mosaic and Citra.

The series as a whole will give MO’s brewers licence to play with yeast and hops strains.

Water Me Lawn | Ballistic Beer Co

The latest release from Ballistic Beer Co is a desalinated watermelon Gose.

The 4.5% abv beer was a champion awarded beer in the SEQ Water sponsored Royal Brisbane Wine and Food Show Beer Awards.

It has been re-released to Queensland only and will be available in cans from the 1st of April.

It includes Pale, Wheat and Lactobacillus Planetarium with additions of watermelon.

Market Sour | Colonial Brewing Co

Off the back of its South West Sour, Colonial Brewing Co are launching a new series, the Market Sour Range.

Colonial says it is inspired by fresh local market produce, with a new edition hitting shelves twice a year.

The first edition is a Juniper, Lime & Cucumber Sour. It has undergone a more extensive souring process that the South West Sour, with a natural lactobacillus bacteria.

Then fresh lime and coriander seed were added before a conventional fermentation. Finally cucumber and juniper was added, with a little Galaxy to dry hop, in addition to Centennial hops added prior.

The result is a Berliner- style sour layered with fruit and spice at 4.5% abv.

It will be available nationally in stores from Tuesday 7th April and Colonial are encouraging customers to get it from independent bottle shops as the industry aims at #keeping local alive.

At 6% abv, the hazy IPA has tropical flavours of pineapple, passionfruit, coconut and citrus.

Big Double Drop IPA and Tango Mango XPA | Capital Brewing Co

Capital Brewing Co has announced that Big Double Drop IPA is back for a limited time.

The beer has been on a six-month hiatus and has been re-released with a limited number of cases available.

It is available in New Castle, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney in select bottle shops and online retailers.

You can expect flavours of green melon, pine, lime and orange sherbet with a classic dry West Coast IPA finish.

At 8.2% abv, hop types used include Idaho 7, Mosaic, Amarillo and Simcoe.

Imperial Monk | Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co has released a new red IPA, the Imperial Monk.

The Autumn release is deep red in colour with rich caramel flavours along with dried fruit and citrusy marmalade.

At 8.3% abv it has a dry, bitter finish and features Bravo, Centennial, Citra and Mosaic.
