Twang Mulberry Sour & Sleep When You’re Dead IPA | Ballistic Beer Co

Ballistic has released a new kettle sour , Twang.

Made with locally-sourced mulberries, Twang comes in at 4.6% abv. It’s brewed with Pale, Wheat Malt and US-05 yeast.

Twang is available now at Ballistic Beer Co Salisbury, Ballistic Westend and selected venues and bottleshops.

Ballistic’s Sleep When You’re Dead IPA rises again this October.

The 6% ABV brew is a double dry hopped hazy IPA, and limited edition pre-orders packs are available now through this link, but there’s only 24 available.

You can find the IPA in 375ml cans from the 3rd of October.

Wild Berry IPA | Burleigh Brewing

Back by popular demand, Burleigh’s Wild Berry IPA is now available as a limited release.

At 6.8% abv, the IPA has an 55 IBU and is brewed with real berries.

Now available on tap, in four packs at the Burleigh Brewing taphouse and at selected venues and independent bottle shops in Queensland and New South Wales

Perfect Match Neipa | Hemingway’s Brewery & Dainton Brewery

Hemingway’s and Dainton have teamed up for this tropical inspired NEIPA.

The team said it has tropical passionfruit tones and a well balanced bitterness from its Galaxy hop regime.

This 5.1% abv brew was released at Hemingway’s Brewery Cairns and Hemingway’s Brewery Port Douglas this week.

So Long Darkness..? | Stone and Wood Brewing Co

So Long Darkness is Stone and Wood’s September limited Counter Culture release, an ‘invisible’ stout.

The beer’s flavours and aromas come from the addition of 45kg of whole unmilled coffee, 35kg cacao nibs, 400kg of lactose and 15kg of vanilla beans.

The pale malt, wheat and oat backbone of So Long Darkness produces the beer’s ‘invisible’ colour.

At 5.9% abv and 35 IBU, the brew is available in packs of two 500ml cans online, and in bottle shops and on tap at the Stone & Wood Brewery in Byron Bay, in limited volumes.

Tiger’s Kiwi Hopped IPA | Moon Dog Craft Brewery

Moon Dog have released an IPA as a part of its Bestest Brewery Doggo Mates series.

Moon Dog said the brew has tropical fruit, pine, citrus and fresh gooseberry notes.

At 6.0% abv, Tigers Kiwi Hopped IPA features Dr Rudi, Nelson Sauvin, Wai-iti and Kohatu hops.

It’s available now across Australia and will be available on October 11th in WA.

Schwarzbier | 4 Pines Brewery

4 Pines’ 2019 AIBA Champion Beer, Schwarzbier, is now available nationally as a limited release.

The brew contains German produced speciality malts – Munich Type 2 and Carafa Special as well as a Australian Pale base Malt.

The key hops Hallertau Hersbrucker are grown in central Germany and the W-34/70 lager yeast strain originated in Bavaria.

At 5.2% ABV and 26 IBU, Schwarzbier is available now from leading bottle shops around the country.

Bling IPA now in cans | Bridge Road Brewers

Bridge Road have released their Bling IPA in cans.

The 5.8% abv brew is available to purchase now in 355ml cans along side session IPA, Little Bling.

Cans are available in 4 packs or a 24 can case via the Bridge Road Brewery online store.

IPA | Young Henrys

The classic IPA from Young Henrys is now available in a new look 375ml can, with an updated Hop regime.

Young Henrys said that the 6% Oz/American style IPA has a balanced bitterness and a dry finish.

The new cans are available to purchase in a 24-pack on the Young Henrys online store.

Freshly Hatched Series, The 86 | Fixation Brewing Co

Fixation Brewing Co have launched the first brew in their Freshly Hatched series, a Hazy IPA named The 86.

The 6.2% abv brew was the first beer brewed at The Incubator and Fixation says it has been consistently the highest selling beer at the venue.

Named after the number 86 tram that runs past the venue on Smith Street, the beer is a tribute to Fixation’s Collingwood home.

The series will be one-off limited release, available in 500ml cans.

New Zealand IPA & The Grapefruit & Citrus Anthem | Otherside Brewing Co

Otherside Brewing Co have a double release, NZIPA and the Grapefruit and Citrus Anthem.

Otherside’s New Zealand IPA comes in at 6.5% abv and contains New World hops.

With orchard fruit and green mango tones, Otherside say it’s delicate on the palate with a crisp finish.

The 6.2% abv Grapefruit & Citrus Anthem is a tweaked Anthem recipe with a hit of grapefruit and orange.

These brews are now available at the Otherside’s brewhouse and have made their way into retailers this week.

Dream Weaver Hazy IPA | Modus Operandi Brewing

Modus Operandi have re-released Dream Weaver Hazy IPA , this time as a national limited release.

Originally brewed in 2018, Dream Weaver is one of Modus’ most popular recent limited releases and featured in the GABS Hottest 100 Beers.

The 7.0% abv brew is a hazy, citrus IPA with the biggest dry hop regime per litre in Modus’ history.

The brew contains orange, tropical flavours from Citra, Amarillo and El Dorado hops and fruity esters from London Fog Yeast.

DDH IPA | Akasha Brewing Company

DDH is Akasha Brewing Company’s latest IPA release.

The 6.5% abv brew has been double dry hopped and contains Citra and Mosaic hops.

Akasha’s brewers say it contains aromas of grapefruit, citrus, and tropical fruits, and it’s available now at select stockists

Brett NEIPA | Beerfarm

Brett NEIPA is Beerfarm’s newest addition, a collaboration brew with Liquor Shed.

Beerfarm said it includes 700 kilograms of crushed pink grapefruit were fermented with wild Brettanomyces bacteria, packing this NEIPA with a citrus and stone fruit punch.

The 2.6% abv brew is available now in 500ml cans.

Very Berry Fairy Floss NEIPA | Capital Brewing Co

Capital Brewing Co have released a NEIPA to celebrate their second birthday this Sunday (22nd September).

‘Fairy floss in beer form’, Capital’s brewers said they loaded this beer with strawberries, which are accompanied by hints of sherbet, melon and pineapple.

The 6.0% abv brew contains Vic Secret, Amarillo, El Dorado hops and Pale, Wheat, Oats Malt.

Pouring this weekend at Capital’s Birthday Party event and subsequently in the taproom.

Helles Pale Lager | Burnley Brewing

Helles Pale Lager is now available to purchase in cans.

Burnley Brewing said that Helles is clean, crisp and refreshing, an ode to the delicious pale lager served at Munich’s Oktoberfest.

It’s available in a 440ml can size, and kegs of the 4.5% abv brew are also available for venues.

Mosarillo | Sauce Brewing

Sauce Brewing have released a Double IPA in honour of their upcoming second birthday.

Mosarillo has been double dry hopped with Mosaic and Amarillo hops.

At 8.0% abv the special batch is now available in 500ml cans.

Sweetart Sour and The Orchard Neipa | Bright Brewery

Sweetart Sour is Bright’s latest sour ale release.

The 4.2% abv brew includes tropical hop flavours and aromas as well as Queensland mango.

Bright’s brewers say the Orchard Neipa has unique orange and mandarin notes with a citrus punch from the Norwegian Kveik ‘super yeast’ and a trio of Citra, Galaxy and Apollo hops.

The 6.5% abv brew is available in 50L kegs and 375ml cans.

 

Gold Coast Bitter, Lost Palms Brewing Co

The Lost Palms team have launched a new Lager, a Gold Coast Bitter.

Lost Palms Brewery owner Jarrod Blanning said inspiration for the new Gold Coast Bitter camefrom a popular Gold Coast hot spot.

“I just thought about a Sunday afternoon on Burleigh Hill, watching the sunset with a few mates, washing away the weekend,” Blanning said.

Gold Coast Bitter has been brewed ‘health consciously’, according to Lost Palms, and is low in carbs and gluten.

The 4.5 % abv brew is made of all-Australian ingredients, with malt sourced from regional Queensland and NSW, hops from Victoria and Aussie-cultivated and produced Lager yeast.

Currently Gold Coast Bitter is only being distributed in local bars and bottle shops.

Brew Tang Cans, Two Birds Brewing

Two Birds Brewing have a new limited released series – Brew Tang Cans.

The first brew, Chew Tang Can, is a 6% abv NEIPA that is cloudy, fruity and heavy on the hops.

Sundaze Sippah is a 5% abv summer ale including Mosaic and Simcoe hops.

Last but not least, Fruit Tang Clan is a 3.8% abv tropical sour with guava, mango and passionfruit.

The release is flying out to select stockists this week and is available now to purchase via the Two Birds Brewing website.

Hot 91 Strawberry Sour ,Glass House Brewery

Glass House Brewery have released a new Strawberry Sour.

The 4.0% abv brew will be available in 375 ml cans at the glass house brewery 13th September, from 3pm.

Funds raised from the brews will go to supporting young Australian veterans transitioning into civilian life.

The Strawberry Sour cans feature names of the veterans along with information on their service, and the berries used in the brews are sourced from local strawberry fields.

Mayday Hills Lime + Cucumber Gose, Bridge Road Brewers

The latest release from the Mayday Hills range has dropped, Lime + Cucumber Gose.

Bridge Road says theLime + Cucumber Gose, is a light- bodied farmhouse ale with a high mineral content and a gentle tartness.

The 4.1% abv brew will be available at all indie beer retailers around the country, with a full stockist list available soon.

Frequin Good Beer, Willie Smiths & AKASHA

Akasha Brewing Co and Willie Smith’s Cider Makers have launched a collaboration brew, Frequin Good IPA.

The 6.8% IPA is brewed using Mosaic hops and twenty percent Frequin Rouge apple juice from Willie Smith’s Tasmanian orchards.

Willie Smith’s say it is a truly unique concoction, the result is a dry, crisp, beer-cider hybrid with notes of grapefruit and citrus, accompanied by bittersweet, high tannin levels.

The brew is launching today at the Royal Albert and will be on tap at selected venues.

Apricot Wheat, Sea Legs Brewing Co

Sea Legs Brewing have dropped their latest release, Apricot Wheat.

This American Wheat Ale is brewed using a large wheat bill and 200kgs of apricots.

It has subtle aromas of stone fruit and bread sweetness, Sea Legs say it’s reminiscent of apricot and jam toast.

This 5.4 % abv brew is available now on tap at Sea Legs Brewing in Brisbane.

Bintani IPA, Ballistic Beer & Bintani

Ballistic Beer have teamed up with Bintani Australia for this collaboration brew.

The release will again be raising money for the Buy A Bale foundation, to help support the farmers who are struggling through the drought.

Ballistic say they believe in supporting all people which help contribute to our community even those who we may never meet.

The 6.1 % abv brew is now available in cans and on tap.

The Beginning (Coolship Collection) La Sirène Brewing

The Beginning is a oak-aged wild ale from the Coolship collection, by La SirèneBrewing.

La Sirène say it has been a long time in the making and they cannot wait to share it with everyone.

A celebration launch is being held at Paradise Alley on Sunday the 15th of September, from 2-4pm to celebrate.

There will be free tastings of The Beginning paired with snacks from Latin American street food vendor Little Latin Lucy.

Side Track XPA, Gage Roads Brewing Co

Gage Roads Brewing Co have released a brand new all-day XPA, Side Track.

Side Track is rated at 24 IBU with 3.5% abv and a light malt base.

This brew has zesty citrus and tropical fruit aromas over a smooth, malty backbone said Gage.

The beer is available on tap and at select stockists.

 

Into the Wood series, Stomping Ground Brewing Co.

The ‘Into the ‘Wood’ series showcases six unique and refined beers, crafted as part of the brewery’s wild and barrel-aged program.

Stomping Ground’s head brewer Ashur Hall says, “The Into the ’Wood series has been a fantastic opportunity for our brewing team to branch out into some more non-traditional methods of brewing with amazing results.

The six brews, named Pinot Noir Brett Saison,Wild Ale Blend No.1,Bourbon Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout, Belgian Dark Strong Ale,Shiraz Barrel-Aged Saison,Port Barrel-Aged Cream Ale, will be released this month.

The full list of stockists will be announced via Stomping Ground on Monday 9th September.

Barrelnormal Activity, Moon Dog Craft Brewery

Moon Dog have teamed up with Cryer Malt and YCH to create this ghost barrel porter.

The brew has been dry hopped with experimental hop HBC 472, which creates the impression that the beer has been barrel aged, Moon Dog explained in a press release.

The team said the brew has oak, coconut and piney flavours with a subtle bourbon aroma, and the malty body of a porter.

It will be launching Friday 5th September at Moon Dog Bar Abbotsford from 4pm and available to the rest of Australia on the 13th of September.

IPA and Apple cider, Two Birds Brewing

Two Birds Brewing have released a new IPA and for the first time, an apple cider.

Two Birds say the IPA is fruity with notes of passionfruit and mango, and the brewers usedGalaxy, Cascade and Citra hops in this 5.8% abv brew.

The all new 5.0% abv cider is brewed in-house with locally sourced apples.

The bottles for both are created by a local glassmaker, just down the road from Two Birds Spotswood Brewery.

IPA and Apple Cider are flying around the country now.

Rabbitohs Natural lager can and Brew am I Re-release, Young Henrys

Young Henrys have announced the return of BrewAmI,a limited edition New World pale ale which was originallybrewedin 2013 to celebrate 20 years of YouAmIalbums and tours.

With 5% abv, the brew ismade with ingredients sourced from parts of the world that each band member calls home; rolled wheat from Tim and Russell’s western state, Davey’s Victorian malt, and Andy’s Kiwi hops.

Thebrewreturned in 2014, 2015 and now 2019 to celebrate theirPrior ConvictionsTour, supported by Young Henrys.

Young Henrys are also celebrating the NRL finalswith a limited edition Rabbitohs can skin for their natural Lager.

The green and red-striped skin released this week and will be available in NSW for a limited time.

Hades, Helios Brewing Company

Helios has released its latest brew, a bitter chocolate stout called Hades.

It is a simple, light oatmeal stout, that is cold fermented on organic cacao from Peru and vanilla from Madagascar.

The unsweetened cacao gives a coffee-like bitter taste but the aroma is all chocolate and vanilla said Helios.

This 4.2% abv brew is available in 375ml cans, at the Brisbane bar now.

DAZY, Balter Brewing Company

Balter Brewing have released a newdouble hazy IPA, DAZY.

The 8% abv brew is available now at a bunch of venues and stores across the country.

Balter said that DAZY has fruit flavours and a spiciness to pull back the sweetness of the fruit, and an undercurrent of bitterness to keep things refreshing.

Wild Berry IPA, Burleigh Brewing Co

This hoppy wild berry IPA is one of four newly announced flavours from Burleigh Brewing Co.

The brew was initially a tap house exclusive, though is going to be available at around 40 bars due to popularity.

With an abv of 6.8% Burleigh Brewing said that the brew’s colour comes naturally from the berries, along with a real-fruit tartness.

A limited release in cartons of cans will also be available mid September in independent bottle shops.
