Colonial Brewing Co | Hazy IPA

Hazy IPA is the latest release from Colonial Brewing Co.

The 6.7% abv brew includes all American Mosaic hops and is double dry hopped with Idaho 7 and El Dorado hops.

Colonial head brewer Ashley Hazell said that “the combination of these hops, along with a New England yeast strain, produces a lively, tropical juice-like fruitiness”.

It will be launching Friday 25th October nationwide and will be available at most independent and major liquor retailers.

Akasha Brewing Company | Cloud 9 Hazy IPA and Korben D. IIPA

Akasha Brewing Company have released two new brews.

First up, Korben D. IIPA is a 8.5% abv American style Double IPA made with Mosaic, Simcoe and Centennial hops.

The second release, Cloud 9 Hazy IPA, uses Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra hops.

“Its full body perfectly compliments its big hoppy flavours, with virtually no bitterness,” according to Akasha.

Both brews are available now in selected bottle shops across Australia.

Otherside Brewing Co | Amchoor & Sencha Sour

Otherside Brewing Co has introduced a 5 % abv sour made with some exotic additions.

Amchoor is an Indian spice made from dried green mango.

Sencha, a type of Japanese green tea adds “earthy herbal and umami tones”, according to Otherside.

It’s brewed with Perie hops an Pale and Wheat malt. Find out more about Otherside’s Experimentals.

Green Beacon Brewing | DDH IIPA and Stones Throw

First up, DDH IIPA is Green Beacon Brewing’s double gold medal winner, returning for a limited time.

The 8.0% abv brew is available now on tap and in tins for take away.

Green Beacon will be filling growlers and offering cases with no limit per person.

The second brew is a collaboration between Green Beacon and the Triffid, a Queensland bar venue.

The 4.9% abv lager is available now on the Green Beacon online store.

Brewmanity | Yuzu and Citrus Sour

Yuzu and Citrus Sour is Brewmanity’s latest release, a 3.6% abv Berliner Weisse.

Brewmanity said they used over 50kg of fruit including Japanese yuzu fruit and Australian limes.

It will be available at Brewmanity’s ‘pop up’ beer market outside of the George Hotel in Melbourne 26th and 27th of October.

Independent retailers across Australia will also have stock available.

Dainton Brewery | Mimosa

Mimosa is Dainton Breweries latest in their limited release range.

Its a sparkling orange Brut IPA based on a Mimosa.

The 5.5% abv brew will be available in 355ml cans, releasing 25th October.

Feral Brewing Company | Sawayaka Sour

Feral Brewing Company has a new release Sour Ale, Sawayaka.

The 4% abv brew includes the Japanese yuzu fruit and cucumber.

It will be available as a keg only release from Friday 25th of October.

Citrus Haze IPA | Garage Beer Co x Sauce Brewing Co

Last month, Barcelona’s Garage Beer Co, spent a day with Sauce Brewing Coat its Marrickville brewery.

The result was a citrus-flavoured 6.7% abv hazy IPA which will be available in 500ml cans.

The special batch was made available at Sauce’s stockists from 15th October.

Nelson Sauvin Single Hop IPA and the Fruitbat | Ballistic Beer Co

Nelson Sauvin Single Hop IPA is the latest in Ballistic Beer Co’s limited release range.

It is made with a Pale and Cara Hell base, US-05 yeast as well as gooseberries, citrus and resin.

The 6.3% abv, 60 IBU brew includes New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops.

Available at all of Ballistic’s venues as well as selected venues and retailers from 17th October.

The second release, Fruitbat, is a 3.3% abv mango session ale.

The 12 IBU brew is available now on tap at Ballistic venues for a limited time.

Imperial Biggie | Feral Brewing Co

Imperial Biggie is Feral Brewing Co’s latest limited release imperial east coast IPA.

Feral said they have “added more malt, hops and alcohol” to the 8% abv brew.

It will be available in keg and rolling out in cans later this month, with full lists of stockists TBC.

West Coast IPA and East NEIPA | Hop Nation x Akasha Brewing Company

Akasha Brewing Company have teamed up with Hop Nation for two collaboration brews.

West Coast is a 6.8% abv IPA brewed at Hop Nation and East is a 6.2% abv NEIPA brewed at Akasha.

West Coast and East contain Ekuanot hops and will be a keg only release.

Launching Friday at Hop Nation and available from Saturday at My Beer Dealer, Brewski Bottleo.

Mystery Beer and Spring Fling | Bright Brewery

Bright Brewery’s Spring Fling is a 4.7% abv, 35 IBU Tropical Pale Ale.

The brew contains passionfruit puree along with Azacca, El Dorado, Enigma and Galaxy hops.

Malt types include Pale, Vienna, Light Crystal and Wheat with American Ale yeast.

It will be available in 50L kegs and 33ml cases (bottles) from 18th October.

Bright’s second release is the Mystery Beer, created by Bright’s head brewer from a secret recipe.

The person who can tell Bright exactly what yeast, hops, and malts are in it, as well as the style of beer, will win a year’s supply of Bright Brewery beer.

Mystery Beer lands on 18th October and will be launched in both Bright and Melbourne, and at the Great Australian Beer Fest Albury on the 19th October.

Hazy DC | Balter Brewing Company

Balter Brewing Co has brewed its Hazy DC using all-Australian Galaxy, Vic Secret and Enigma hops.

It is a 6.0% 30 IBU Hazy IPA with mango and pineapple.

Available from 15th October, from stockists via the Hazy DC Beer Locator.

Mellon Collie, Stone Fruit and Maple Bacon | Dainton Brewery

Dainton Brewery have released three new brews as part of their limited range.

Melon Collie is an imperial pumpkin ale, coming in at 8% abv and 20 IBU with spices including cinnamon and nutmeg.

Second up is Stone Fruit is a 4.7% abv apricot and peach kettle sour with an IBU of 5.

Last but not least, Maple Bacon is the newest release of the three, an ice cream pancake ale.

At 6% abv and 35 IBU, it is currently available to pre-order.

All brews are available to purchase on the Dainton website as well as at a number of stockists.

Dry-Hopped Sour Ale | Green Beacon Brewing

Green Beacon Brewing have added a new dry-hopped sour to their brewpub draught selection.

The 5.0% abv brew is the newest release in their Helen Street Series and has pineapple, grapefruit, and guava flavours.

Available today from 12pm at the Brisbane brewpub on Helen Street.

Centaur Hybrid Pale Ale | Balter Brewing Company

Centaur is Balter’s newest kegged release, available on tap at Balter HQ in Currumbin.

The brew has lime and passionfruit with a hint of coconut flavours, and uses US hops.

At abv 5.1%, 25 IBU, the part hazy, San Diego pale ale will be available on tap this week.

David Boysenberry | Moon Dog Craft Brewery

Moon Dog Craft Brewery said that 2.4 tonnes of boysenberry have gone into making this batch of sour ale.

The 4.5% abv sour is available in a four-pack of 330ml cans, releasing Friday 17th of October nationally.

Ginger Beer | Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co have released a 99 per cent sugar-free alcoholic ginger beer as part of their core range.

It is 75 calories per serve, gluten free and lower carb.

At 3.5% abv it will be available at bottle shops very soon.

Triple Hopped | Willie the Boatman

Willie the Boatman have announced a triple dry hopped double NEIPA, releasing Friday 18th October.

The 8.8% abv brew is a keg only release, currently available to pre-order for wholesale.

Beloved Brew | Philter Brewing x M/SF/T Collaboration

NSW-based Philter Brewing have released Beloved Brew, in collaboration with surf and clothing company M/SF/T (Misfit) and its Mad Minds special projects division.

Beloved is a 30 IBU pale ale with 100% Australian hops including Cascade, Topaz, Ella and Victoria’s Secret.

The artwork on the cans was designed by Misfit art director, Dan Watkins, with the aim of creating a nostalgic, Australian-inspired piece.

The 4.6% abv brew is available for a limited time in venues and retail outlets from October 10th.

The Doors of Perception | Newstead Brewing Co

Newstead Brewing Co have released a new dark fruit sour – The Doors of Perception – inspired by the eponymous novel by Aldous Huxley.

It combines boysenberry, mulberry and blackcurrants with a citrus tang and raisin notes from the malt.

The 5.3% abv brew is available on tap at brewpubs and in cans.

Charles Oates Pommeau | Charles Oates Distilling

Charles Oates Pommeau is Willie Smith’s sister company, Charles Oates Distilling’s, latest release – an 18.2% abv aged apple liqueur.

The apples are pressed, distilled, aged and bottled just metres from where they’re grown in the William Smith and Sons orchard, in Tasmania’s Huon Valley.

Pressed, unfermented French and British heirloom apple varieties were blended with twice-distilled Charles Oates Apple spirit, then aged for 12 months in small apple brandy casks.

It is available now Australia wide.

Cheeky Red IPA | Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co x Brew N Que Australia and 96FM Perth

Cheeky Monkey have teamed up with Brew N Que Australia and 96FM Perth for this 6% abv Red IPA.

It features strawberry and pine notes from the use of Ekuanot, Huell Melon and Simcoe hops.

Part of the base malt is smoked over Jarrah Wood by Smokin’ Bull BBQ.

The brew will be released exclusively this weekend at the Brew N Que Festival.

No Man’s Land XPA | Two Bays Brewing Co

Two Bays Brewing Co have released a gluten-free XPA, No Man’s Land.

The 5.0% abv brew will be available in 375ml cans in 450 bottle shops and venues across Australia.

It will also be available for tasting at the Two Bays’ taproom on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Jumping the Megalodon | Moon Dog Craft Brewery and Yardley Brothers Beer

Brewed in collaboration with Hong Kong’s Yardley Brothers Beer, Moon Dog Craft Brewery have released Jumping The Megalodon.

Its a 18% abv ice distilled sour IPA with malted barley, yeast lactobacillus, filtered water and hops.

Currently the brew is available in Hong Kong and Singapore, though it may be making its way to Moon Dog World for a special event later in the year.

New England Lager | Mismatch Brewing

Mismatch Brewing’s newest addition is a hazy, hopped driven lager made with Australian passionfruit and mango juice.

The 5% abv brew is 100% natural with no artificial flavours, colours or essence, according to Mismatch.

It is available in 375ml cans, hitting stores and Lot.100 from this week.

Fathom | Green Beacon Brewing

Fathom is Green Beacon Brewing’slatest cellar release, a nitro imperial stout with coffee.

The 9.2% abv brew is an in house, draught only brewpub exclusive.

There will be a single nitrogenated keg of the release available Friday 4th of October at the Green Beacon Brewpub from 12pm.
