New Beers Wrap

Beechworth Pale Ale, Bridge Road Brewers

The Beechworth Pale Ale is going in cans after 14 years as a Bridge Road Brewers core range favourite.

The Victorian brewers said there had been huge demand over the past two years for the Pale to be available in cans.

Founder Ben Kraus said that the Beechworth Pale was “approachable, aromatic and balanced”.

“In a time where the value of core range is being challenged, we place huge importance in having a beer that’s a go-to and an entry point for so many, yet manages to remain a benchmark for craft Pale Ale in the country,” he said.

The first run of cans will be available in independent retailers around the country next week.

Cinnamon, clove, allspice, ginger and cardamom have been added, contributing flavours of dried fruit and toffee, on top of the subtle red wine flavour, said Bright.

The brewery’s Barrel Series beers will be available from Bright Brewery, online and at selected retailers.
