Katey McNulty recently announced her new role as sensory leader at Lion. She has previously worked in similar roles including quality assurance brewer at Good George Brewing and sensory specialist with Carton & United Breweries.
Kirrily Waldhorn | Beer Matters
Kirrily Waldhorn has announced her new position of managing director of Beer Matters, a new business specialising in beer industry research and insights. This new position is an addition to Waldhorn’s work with NZ Hops as brand consultant.
Jon Burridge | Yakima Chief Hops
After working with Cryer Malt for over three years, Jon Burridge has announced his new role of operations and sales support manager for Australia and New Zealand at Yakima Chief Hops. Burridge has previously worked with Hopco and Moo Brew.
Robin Levison | Mighty Craft
In late September, Mighty Craft announced that Robin Levison will step down as chairman and non-executive director of the board from the date of its AGM on 21st November 2022. Levinson first joined the board in February 2018 and has been chairman since the company’s official listing on the ASX in December 2019.

Steve Voorma has been appointed as CEO of wholesale beverage marketplace Kaddy after Dean Taylor announced his departure.
Meg Daniel | Billson’s Brewery
Meg Daniel has joined Billson’s Brewery as state sales manager. Daniel previously worked at Lion, with her most recent role being national sales enablement manager.
Richard Hollingworth | Deeds Brewing
Richard Hollingworth has announced his new role as head brewer at Deeds Brewing. His previous experience includes roles at Asahi Beverages, Lion and Carlsberg Group.
Deanna Atsalas | Carlton & United Breweries
Deanna Atsalas has joined Carlton & United Breweries in the newly created role of NPD Commercialisation Manager. Her previous roles within the company include brand manager, trade spend manager and senior finance analyst.
Eden Pink | Prancing Pony Brewery
After almost seven years, Eden Pink has announced she is leaving Prancing Pony Brewery. She first started at the brewery in 2016 as a production brewer before being promoted to senior brewer last year.
Jack Steblina | Mighty Craft
Jack Steblina has announced a new role within Mighty Craft as business development manager. He previously worked as operations manager with Merivale.
Nathan Alfrey | Two Bays Brewing Co.
Nathan Alfrey has joined Two Bays Brewing Co. as its new marketing manager. His previous experience includes roles at Maltra Foods, Roma Food Products and Webfirm.
Jason Scher | Broo
Broo has announced the appointment of Jason Scher as Non Executive Director of the company. Scher has worked within the Fast Moving Consumer (FMCG) space for over 20 years including roles at Orange & Green, Kruger and Kraft Foods Group. He also co-founded Vitaminhaus’ Vöost Vitamins range.
