Bright Brewery Recognised as Finalist – 2013 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards – Best New Tourism Development 2013
Bright Brewery has been recognised as a Finalist in the category of New Tourism Development in Victoria at the 2013 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards.
The Awards aim to foster a culture for business development excellence and innovation. The Awards Dinner was held on 11 November at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre;
“It’s a huge honour to be recognised as a Victorian Tourism Award Finalist, we’ve worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to redevelop our business and create a unique tourism destination that contributes to the already strong Bright tourism community. Congratulations to the other Winners and Finalists of this year’s Awards and a big thanks to all our staff and supporters who’ve got behind us and helped make the Brewery a success,” said Bright Brewery Founder and General Manager Scott Brandon.
Founded in 2006, Bright Brewery was acknowledged for the comprehensive redevelopment and transformation of their business over the last 12 months which saw the venue grow from a small brewing space with an outdoor bar into an architecturally and environmentally considered landmark tourism venue;
“We’ve quadrupled our floor space and now have the room to provide seating for over 100 people indoors,” explained Mr Brandon.
The new venue is highly visible and has quickly become a major attraction for Bright;
“We added a commercial kitchen and considerably increased our manufacturing and brewing capacity as well. We run now tours three days a week and offer a monthly Brewer for a Day experience.”
