Ballarat Beer Festival Father's Day special
The Ballarat Beer Festival is set to raise the bar as the organisers busily brew up a bunch of enticing new attractions for their fourth annual event. Featuring a massive day of world class brews, ciders, wines and gourmet food alongside some of Australia’s finest bands performing on the main stage all to be showcased at the fun-packed event on Australia Day weekend (24th January) 2015 at Ballarat City Oval.
The event, which is a uniquely curated and handcrafted celebration dedicated to the increasing popularity of specialist craft beers, plus delicious gourmet food, will be a visual feast, appealing to beer lovers, music lovers, foodies and fun-seekers alike. All delivered in the great outdoors over nine full jam-packed hours.
With attendance rising annually since it’s inception, 2015 is bound to see the Ballarat City Oval filled with thousands of passionate beer connoisseurs keen to taste what’s on offer.

The day is as much about beer as it is about top class entertainment, and the 2015 festival site will unveil alluring new attractions including The Cider Orchard – a wonderfully lush space to wander about admiring the vintage themes, inviting you to kick back, relax and sip a refreshing cider; Brewers’ Big Backyard, a specially created area for serious craft beer aficionados to take part in the festivities with ten breweries all under the one roof encouraging you and your mates to leisurely sample some of their delicious brews in a shady, relaxed setting; and The Games Garden, a funky, fun space crammed with all the cool stuff including games appealing to the inner child in all of us Jenga, bocci, croquet, hoola-hoops, and so much more. Plus a return of Kids Zone which, with its petting zoo and children’s entertainment galore, is fun for the entire family.
