Ok, I edited the 2011 Beer Lover’s Guide to Australia so you’re not going to get an independent and unbiased review of it here. But with contributors including Pete Mitcham, Ian Watson and Kirrily Waldhorn all writing for this years edition, I really don’t need to gush too much anyway. Regular readers of Australian Brews News already know that these are some of the most interesting and plugged in independent beer writers in Australia at the moment. Add to the mix beer writing competition winner Nathan Costello and one of the most comprehensive directories of Australian breweries and beer venues, and you have a great read for beer lovers.

As craft beer continues to win over Australian hearts and palates, a new book sets out to debunk the myth that the best place for a beer is sitting on your couch watching the football.
