The Brewer’s notes describe a very tempting extreme twist on the classic robust porter, brewed with over 300 kg of malt and infused with a dash of rich Dutch cocoa and whole vanilla beans. Luscious chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavours are balanced by a hint of vanilla and a body of 6% alcohol. A perfect winter warmer or a complement to meat pies and chocolate-based desserts.

Matt Kirkegaard comments that for all we talk about craft beer and flavour, beers that really penetrate the public consciousness are a package that starts and ends with flavour but in between captivates for a whole lot of other reasons. Temptress seems to be one of these beers. Cocoa and vanilla overlaid over an already complex malt body in beer that is perfectly named for what it is.
