Father's Day at Goma with Stone & Wood
Beers, Burgers, Bonnie and Art
Media Release
We’ll be pouring fresh beers on the lawn from our caravan on Father’s Day at Goma. Drop by during the day or book in for a special beer and food tasting with the boys, Jamie and Ross and GOMA’s Exec. Chef…
So next weekend is Father’s Day. A day for all the guys and their fathers…and their fathers to feel like kings. It’s not about extravagant presents (though if they’re being offered, fine!) but kicking back, slowing down and enjoying the day with your loved ones.
If you’re in Brissy, we’ve made it easy. Were rolling our caravan Bonnie onto the grounds of GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art) and plonking her on the fresh, fluffy grass in front of GOMA Cafe Bistro. We’ll be pouring beer all afternoon and for just $20, you can get your mouth around a gourmet burger (we’ve heard duck is one of the options) and wash it down with one of our beers.
Bring the kids, cruise through the gallery, have a beer and enjoy the day together at this awesome spot along the river.
For something extra special, the boys Jamie and Ross along with QAGOMA Executive Chef Josue Lopez will host a tasting of our four beers, paired with four dishes prepared by Josue.
Come and listen to the three discuss the importance of provenance and keeping it local, community based and sustainable, tying this theme back in with the current exhibition Harvest.
$50 members/$70 guests, 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
You know what, you don’t even need to be a father, you could bring your father or even your friends! What more of an excuse do you need if you’re around Brissy?
This place combines three of our loves art, food and beer and it’s family friendly. We’ll be there and so will Bonnie!
