Glenn Cooper on Coopers Clear
The reaction to Coopers Clear seems to have been, as expected, underwhelming amongst those who drink Coopers’ traditional offerings.
On 4BC Radio’s Beer Talk program, Australian Brews News editor, Matt Kirkegaard, spoke with Coopers’ Chairman and Marketing Director Glenn Cooper to find out whether Coopers has sold out. No matter what you think of the beer, you have got to like a Marketing Director who’s willing to admit that he had to ask his brewers to ‘dumb down’ their beers. He also made some interesting comments about some possible new beers along the lines of their annual Vintage Ale that hold out the promise of more flavour.
