Although we know some will be sad to hear this news, today we are announcing that Good Beer Week is taking a breather in 2024.

This break is essential for Good Beer Week — a long-standing highlight for Melbourne and Victoria since 2011 — to step back, contemplate, and pave the way to deliver the ultimate beer experience in future years.

Our partners, Pint of Origin and GABS are still charging full speed ahead so keep an eye out on socials for more information!

The industry is struggling right now and times are tough for hospitality too but our Australian independent beer industry is at risk and we’re sure there are ways we can help each other.

To support our breweries and hospo legends sooner rather than later we have teamed up with The Crafty Pint for Local Beer Day. Our aim is to get together on Saturday 24 February 2024 to drive consumers into venues and to celebrate our super important brewing industry when they most need it.

So instead of being able support Good Beer Week we really need you to act now, seek out your local brewery or beer venue and to look for the Independent Seal when buying your next beer.

If your venue is keen to extend support please consider adding an extra indie tap, offering local specials and display the Independent Seal so your valued customers know they are making a difference by supporting our Aussie owned breweries.
