Murrays Craft Brewing Co have announced they are bringing back an old favourite – with a twist. The brewery described their Sassy Blonde is a great little, although very misunderstood, beer. So they have announced they have upped the ABV to about 5.2%, made her a bit paler with a stronger Belgian yeast character. She’s still at session strength, but “bigger” all round. Sassy Blonder will be released over the June long weekend (June 12-14th).

Look out also for Murray’s Heart of Darkness and Wild Thing Imperial Stout which Murray’s has announced will be coming soon.

UPDATE

We have just received word that Murray’s head brewer, Shawn Sherlock, will be a special guest at the Taphouse, Darlinghurst’s July Ale Stars event and will be talking about Murray’s and their beers. He will apparently be bringing along their new seasonal as a special treat.
