VHA | Gage Roads Brewing Co
Gage Roads Brewing Co have a new limited release ale, VHA, a triple-gold medal winning ‘Very Hoppy Ale’.
The brew is double dry hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic and Azzaca hops.
Gage Road says to expect tropical fruit flavours and bitterness from the the grounded heritage barley malt.
Head brewer Ross Brown says VHA is no ordinary pale ale, having already won gold at the AIBAs, Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show, and the Perth Royal Beer Awards.
“The double dry hop packs so much flavour into the beer. It’s super smooth and drinks really well,” he said.
“VHA showcases my favourite hops at the moment in Azacca, Galaxy and Mosaic. That trio comes together to create big tropical fruit bowl aromas.
“There’s plenty of passionfruit, mango and guava. There’s a touch of spice and the heritage malt variety we used adds richness and integrates the hop characters on the palette.”
It is available in 500ml cans and kegs at independent bottle shops now.
