Winning smile: Phil Rutjens

The winner of the competition celebrating Bintani’s new proprietary hop, Fortnight,has been revealed.

Phil Rutjens, brewery manager at Southern Bay Brew Co, will be hosted by Bintani on a rare educational trip to North America and Germany.

He will visit Portland and Bend, Oregon, as well as Seattle and Yakima, Washington, where he will have unparalleled access to YCH Hops’ farms and expert hop breeders.

Following that, the tour will continue to Munich, taking in the world’s biggest beverage convention, Drinktec, as well as day one of Oktoberfest.
