It’s that time of year again! Voting is open for the GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beer people’s choice poll.

The annual poll, now in its 16^th year, is considered one of the biggest polls of its type in the world! GABS are asking Aussie craft beer lovers to select their five favourite craft beers of 2023 in the GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers People Choice Poll!  

With so many incredible beers sold in 2023, selecting just five favourites across the year can be a daunting task for a craft beer lover. Whether it’s a big hoppy double IPA, a tasty Hazy, refreshing Lager, deep Porter, fruity Sour or a small one-off batch that tantalised your tastebuds this year, this is your chance to show appreciation to the hard-working brewers behind our great Australian craft beer industry.

Last year, over 60,000 consumers registered to vote with an incredible 2,140 different beers attracting votes! Mountain Culture Beer Co’s, Status Quo Pale Ale took out the top step on the podium as the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer Champion of 2022 followed closely by two previous champions, Balter Brewing’s XPA and BentSpoke Brewing Co Crankshaft IPA.  In addition to the main Hottest 100 list, GABS also releases the Hottest Indie Beers, Hottest New Beers, and Hottest Next Beers (101-200) of the year.

This year all voters will qualify for the draw to win a share of prizes valued at $10,000!

In a massive celebration, countdown parties will take place around the country on 27 January 2024 including at the First Choice Liquor store in Ashfield in Sydney’s inner west, where results will be broadcast live via the Hottest 100 podcast hosted by renowned industry personality, Matt Kirkegaard. Consumers are invited to get in on the action and visit the Ashfield store during the day, spend time in the pop-up beer garden and sample some winning craft beers.
