With so many people around the country having to work from home, the 2021 GABS Can Design Awards are perfectly timed. They offer consumers and art lovers an opportunity to celebrate the very best in craft brewery can designs in a fun and engaging way and to show the love and appreciation we have for home grown talent in what is a really challenging time for the industry.

This year, over 140 Australian breweries have entered in the GABS Can Design Awards and the creativity has once again exceeded all expectations. We are super excited to showcase all the amazing work that goes towards the “outside of the tin”. Think mythology, skeletons, cult classics, sports and everything in between! These adventurous and unique themes have inspired designers and produced some of the country’s best retail packaging!

Powered by the team behind Australia’s premier craft beer event, the Great Australasian Beer SpecTapular (GABS), craft brewery fans will be invited to vote for their favourite 3 designs. Last years winner was an amazing, bright, magenta and pink face invertor design from Little Bang Brewery. It was a great illustration of how your face transforms when indulging on a super sour beverage.

Voting will be open from 1st to 10th October and the exciting news for everyone that casts a vote is that you will be entered into a draw to win a share of the $10,000 prize pool which includes vouchers from BoozeBud and tickets to the next GABS Festival season!

The top 10 designs as voted for by the public will then go before a panel of industry brand and design experts and the winner will be announced 22 October.
