WA Beer Week 2019 key dates announced
The Western Australian Brewers Association has released the dates for WA Beer Week 2019, with a few notable changes to the Western Australia beer calendar.
WA Beer Week is a 10-day celebration of beer that takes place at the best bars, breweries and restaurants across Western Australia.
The 2019 festival follows the huge successes of last year’s event with a record number of tickets sold and revenue generated and has secured key sponsorship and partnerships that have helped reduce ticket costs to the lowest on record.
This year, WA Beer Week will moveaway from the event-heavy weeks of November to the quieter mid-year month of June.
This has also allowed WA Beer Week to align with the 2019 Perth Royal Beer Show Awards and Festival, with the view to ensuring a more attractive and focused WA Beer Week with a wider potential customer base.
WA Beer Week is calling all breweries and venues that wish to take part in this year’s festivities to start planning their events now.
The festival is now accepting expressions of interestfor twolucky venues – one metro and one regional– to host the WABW 2019 Opening Party and to be this year’s flagship venue.
Festival organisers will provide pointers to help breweries and venues with their concepts based on what has and hasn’t worked in the past.
WA Beer Week is calling for festival volunteers to help across a number of fields from marketing to logistics, promotion, copywriting and social media.
