Akasha Brewing Co has announced the release of “Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout” (10.2% abv).

This smooth jet black stout features a malt base of roasted barley and oats, giving it raisin and fudge notes. Having been aged in whiskey barrels from Kentucky’s Heaven Hill Distillery, it is infused with oak and vanilla with distinct toffee and caramel undertones.
