Ballistic launches affordable beer Brewunity

Queensland owned and operated Ballistic Beer Co. is launching a new beer brewed especially for its loyal community of beer lovers and local supporters during these tough times, Brewunity.

“The name Brewunity means we are brewing beer for our community, we know people are going to be watching their spending over the coming months and we want to make it easy and affordable for our customers to continue to enjoy great beer in these tough times”, said David Kitchen, CEO of Ballistic Beer Co. “Our customers have been wonderful with their support for us and now we want to give something back to them”.

The label describes the beer as follows:

Hard times can knock us down but united together we are stronger. Brewunity is an affordable, full flavoured Australian Pale Ale made in the face of crisis. Using innovative processes and Aussie ingredients we’ve shaved production costs to keep precious cash in your pocket. Let’s unite and stand together!

The beer is priced at just $55 per carton of 24 and will be available online through the Ballistic web shop (www.ballisticbeer.com.au). Also available at the Salisbury Brewery Bar and Ballistic Springfield for takeaway.

Lachy Crothers, Head Brewer, said ‘We haven’t skimped on the quality of this product, it’s in line with our philosophy of using great local ingredients and being relentless with our quality processes.

We have innovated by using a yeast strain that ferments quickly and cuts our production times so we can deliver beer fast without compromising on the taste or quality. We love how the beer tastes and we love what it stands for.”

By using local ingredients, innovative new yeasts, existing packaging, reducing margins and by selling it direct to customers Ballistic have been able keep costs down to deliver a great value beer to their loyal supporters at a time when consumers will be looking to support their local brewery but are also conscious of their spending.
