The Wheatsheaf in Adelaide has unveiled a bumper line-up of events for its very own beer week.

This year marks the sixth edition of Good Beer Wheaty, running from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th May.

“With a nod to Melbourne’s very excellent Good Beer Week, we put together a collection of craft beer events of the kind The Wheaty already hosts – but over a concentrated period and with some very special bells and whistles,” The Wheatsheaf said.

“In short Good Beer Wheaty is a very short, very craft and very Wheaty celebration of good beer.”

This year the brewpub has enlisted 8 Wired, Naparbier, Gladfield Malt and Doctor’s Orders for events including tap takeovers and meet the brewer evenings, as well as a malt masterclass.

The abovementioned identities will also be collaborating with Wheaty Brewing Corps on the creation of new beers throughout the week, with the finished products ready to taste in July.
