As summer approaches, the WA Brewers Association (WABA) is once again releasing their now annual, highly popular, mixed cube as part of their efforts to encourage West Australians to support the local industry and choose to “drink west, drink best.”
The Drink West Drink Best mixed cube features some of WA’s finest beers from 16 breweries and can be found exclusively in Liquor Barons stores across WA.
WABA Chairperson Mike Morgan said the annual mixed cube is about harnessing the appetite for supporting local and encouraging West Aussies to savour some of the best beers coming out of their own state.
“This year’s mixed cube is a celebration of WA summer – we’ve leaned heavily into fresh, crisp flavours with lagers, plus tart, sour ales and sessionable summer beers perfect for the warmer weather.
“It’s a real taste of WA – there’s breweries that are thousands of kilometres away from each other and everywhere in between, showcased in our mixed pack.
“As the birthplace of craft beer in Australia, consider this cube your yearly reminder to celebrate the WA breweries that are making world class quality brews right here in our own backyard”, said Mike.
On the market just in time for the festive summer season, and with limited stock available, the mixed cube is available exclusively through Liquor Barons.
Liquor Barons’ Merchandise and Promotions Manager, Melissa Teale, said it’s part of Liquor Barons’ ethos to support local and stock local where they can, so they jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with WABA.
“As a proud 100% West Aussie liquor retail group, we’ve always been committed to supporting local, so it was a no-brainer to collaborate with WABA to produce this Drink West Drink Best beer pack that we know our customers will love,” she said.
