Carton of Better Beer for Bitcoin giveaway

This July, Better Beer & CoinSpot are giving Aussies the chance to win one of three Bitcoins in an epic treasure hunt

Better Beer are back once again with an even bigger competition than their last – partnering with CoinSpot to give Aussies the chance to win one of three Bitcoins this July with a prize pool of ~$134,454* – two will be hidden inside specially marked cases of Better Beer Zero Carb cans in retail and one will be won via a lottery, in participating on premise venues.

*as of 22 June, with the prize pool value subject to fluctuation.

Known for creating viral content and brewing great beer, Better Beer doesn’t shy away from big competitions, having given away $100,000 cash only back in Easter this year through a social media led competition.

“We’ve created a huge following over the last 18 months since we launched and it’s all about having fun with our community and breaking the norm with beer advertising. Given we’re a digitally-led beer brand [with 138,000 followers across Instagram and Facebook] why not hide some digital currency inside a can of beer?” – Nick Cogger, CEO.

“We were originally going to do this competition back in January, however Bitcoin’s price crashed to $25k & we weren’t sure if it was going to continue to drop. It has now bounced back to around ~$44k so now is the perfect time to run the promotion. We’ve ‘hidden’ two Bitcoins inside specially marked cases of our best-selling Better Beer Zero Carb cans, and we’ll give away a third Bitcoin through a lottery, via our on premise customers.” – Cogger.

The concept was spearheaded by Born Bred Creative- the renowned creative agency and talent management for The Inspired Unemployed. As the first agency across Australia and New Zealand to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment, they have consistently demonstrated their commitment to pushing boundaries and staying ahead of the curve. The collaboration with Better Beer for the ‘Find the Bitcoin’ campaign exemplifies their pioneering spirit by partnering with Australia’s largest crypto exchange, CoinSpot.

“We are thrilled to partner with Better Beer to bring this exciting promotion to Australians,” said Ray Osthmuller, Head of Marketing at CoinSpot.

“By combining Australia’s love for beer and the growing interest in crypto, we aim to create a unique experience that engages our customers and promotes the use of digital currencies in everyday life.”

Founder and Director, Clare Winterbourn shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating: “We are incredibly proud to work with Better Beer on this groundbreaking campaign. By merging the realms of beer and cryptocurrency, we aim to captivate and engage a wide range of audiences.”

Better Beer is expected to sell 60,000 cartons during the month, which will be sold exclusively through Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
