La Sirene launches Citray Sour in cans

The power of sour has overtaken us as we release one of our favourite kegged beers into tinnies, cue Citray Sour.

We initially produced this beer in keg only format at the end of last year as a one-off release when we came across a gorgeous looking locally grown parcel of oranges. However due to the overwhelming response by punters and along with our team’s enthusiasm to present a Farmhouse Sour in a can, the CITRAY SOUR was born. A long awaited sibling to our Farmhouse Style Pale Ale the URBAN PALE.

Weighing in at 4.5% ABV with a very simple malt bill, this super refreshing straw coloured Orange Farmhouse Sour Ale utilises the natural microbes that live harmoniously within the brewery’s walls to naturally sour this ale which is loaded with real citrus (grown right here in Victoria) to the maximum and of course is fermented with our signature La Sirène House Yeast.

The CITRAY SOUR very much represents everything we love to do here at La Sirène, namely creating world class Farmhouse Ales (including Saisons) which showcase the provincial nature and versatility of these diverse and delicious styles.

TASTING NOTES: Expect aromatics of creamy citrus with bright orange top notes, whilst on thepalate it’s a fruity number that is unmistakably,mouth-wateringly sour with real orange citrus.
